MELOCOTONES ASADOS Y MÁS {ROASTED PEACHES & MORE}

No he podido esperar.
  1. I know I know what you are going to think when you read that some oven is required for this recipe, specially now that temperatures have risen, but this dessert is something else....a sin.....a mortal sin I would say. In the end, you can have it warm or cold and I was dying to make it. I simply couldn´t wait. This dessert was the superstart at my house last Friday night.
MELOCOTONES ASADOS CON NATILLAS
INGREDIENTES

ROASTED PEACHES WITH CUSTAR CREAM
INGREDIENTS
1 big can of canned peaches in syrup or fresh peaches, peeled, pitted and halved. We need to calculate half peach for each person)
Butter, a small square portion for each half
One clove for each half
2tbsp of brown sugar
1tsp of Nutmeg
1tsp of cinnamon powder
1tsp of ginger powder
1/2 brioche bun for each half of peach
1litre of more of light custard cream. Recipe in here

METHOD
1. Preheat the oven to 200º for 10min. Rub an oven proof dish with butter and assemble the peaches. On each half, pinch in a clove.
2. In a bowl, mix the sugar, the cinnamon, the nutmeg and the ginger powder.
3. Sprinkle this mixture over the peaches and add the butter squares all over. Add some of the syrup that comes in the tin too, if using fresh peaches, add nothing. Roast for 30min.
4. Once the peaches are done, put half of the brioche type bun in the bowl
5. Put a peach half on the bun and pour some of the juices obtained from roasting the peaches and the mixture of spices and sugar.
6. And pour the custard cream around the peach and the bun.
7. And you can decorate it with some drops of that syrup we got from the juices and the mixture of spices and well, some mint leaves to add some color and well it´s gorgeous, light, not too sugary, wonderful....anything else you´d like to know about it?...it´s too good to explain with words.
8. And well, it´s a shame to end this post, I was remembering the moment I served the dessert.

  1. Sabes?
